I am a software consultant from Montreal, Quebec. I started out as a social sciences student, but quickly switched to computer programming after having way too much fun creating mods for Crusader Kings 2.
Constantly on the lookout for new and interesting things, I maintain a wide range of interests:
- History, fantasy and science fiction, mostly through video games and literature
- Alpine ski (I also teach it professionally!)
- Microbreweries, both for the beer and the people
I've worked several years as a ski instructor in Mont-Tremblant, an international mountain resort.
On the technical side I am very curious and spend most of my free time learning new programming languages or tweaking the inner workings of an operating system.
I’m currently using OpenBSD as my main desktop and this website is hosted using OpenBSD as well.
Stuff I would like to work on:
- Operating Systems
- Artificial Intelligence
- Video games
- Distributed Systems
- Formal Methods
